Deathless

Deathless

Hello everyone. There will be no science Saturday today. I put all my available time this week into Deathless, so all three of the posts I had scheduled for this week got put on hold. Expect some cool stuff next week though.

Speaking of Deathless though, I have some big news:

It’s finished.

Like, completely finished.

There may be very minor corrections to come in the near future, but there will be no more major changes until an editor advises me to make some.

Which brings me to my next announcement, which many of you have asked me about:

I will begin seeking a literary agent to represent me and my book with hopes of publishing. I’m not sure what to expect from this process, so I’m planning for the worst and hoping for the best. If I don’t get any encouraging responses, Deathless and the rest of the Immortals series will be shelved indefinitely and I’ll move on to the next story that needs to be told. I expect that will be a hard choice to make, but necessary to grow as a writer.

Regardless of what comes of this, I owe a big thank you to all of you who have supported me and helped me make it to this point. In particular, I’d like to thank all of you who read this blog. Bringing a novel to a completed state was a much more difficult task than I could have imagined, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without your encouragement.

That’s all for this week. Now I have query letters to write.

Onward and upward.
